About this work

A space
for honest dialogue

Individual therapy is a space where you can speak honestly, without fear of being judged. Here you meet yourself - your feelings, thoughts and stories.

Together we explore what gets in the way of living freely: anxiety, inner tension, self-doubt, painful memories or tangled relationships. Step by step you begin to understand yourself better and reclaim your inner ground.

In this dialogue, you get to try on new roles, experiment with different responses, and find solutions that feel genuinely stable for you. Therapy becomes a regular time to breathe, regroup and trust again that your inner compass can be restored.

What you can bring

Topics
and requests

Eating disorders

A difficult relationship with food, body and weight - when controlling eating has become a way to manage anxiety or pain.

Anxiety and fears

Constant worry, panic attacks, fear that something will go wrong - even when there is no objective reason for it.

Burnout and boundary issues

Feeling that work is draining all your energy and saying "no" seems impossible. You give more than you receive and don't know how to stop.

Self-esteem and loneliness

A feeling of not being good enough, or that no one truly understands you. It's hard to accept yourself and trust others.

Relationships and conflicts

Conflicts in a partnership, difficulty with intimacy, repeating relational patterns - when you find yourself in the same situation again and again.

Relocation and adaptation

Moving to another country, losing a familiar way of life, feeling unsure of who you are in a new context. Everything seems to start over, and that's not easy.

Career and meaning

A feeling of living "someone else's" life, losing direction or purpose - when it's unclear where to go and why.

Existential crisis and achievement fatigue

You achieve a lot but feel empty inside - a sense that none of it is right. Energy drops, even though everything looks fine on the outside.

In a safe contact we can search for answers and find solutions together. There is room here for your feelings and the topics you want to work through.

How the work is structured

The process
step by step

01

Introduction

First meeting - we get to know each other safely and see whether working together feels right.

02

Defining the focus

We clarify the goal and current theme - what you want to work on first.

03

Working the theme

We explore feelings, thoughts and reactions, trying new ways of relating to yourself and the world.

04

Reflection

We acknowledge the changes and map the next step - calmly and at your own pace.

First step

What happens
in the first session

The first meeting is not a diagnosis or an exam. It is simply a conversation in which we get acquainted and find out whether you feel comfortable working together.

I will explain how my approach works. You can share what brought you here - as much or as little as you like. There is no pressure: no preparation needed, nothing to prove, no expectation of being the "perfect client".

By the end we will know whether it makes sense to continue and in what format. If for any reason we are not the right fit - I will say so honestly and recommend colleagues.

Comparing approaches

Gestalt
and other methods

Gestalt

Works with feelings, body and relationships "here and now". Helps restore contact with yourself, understand your needs and integrate experience at a deep level.

CBT

Focuses on changing thought patterns and behaviour. Effective for specific symptoms - phobias, panic attacks, depression. More structured and short-term.

Psychoanalysis

Explores the unconscious and early experience through long-term work. A deep method, but requires considerable time. Gestalt offers similar depth in a more active and dialogical format.

Schema Therapy

Works with core beliefs and patterns formed in childhood. Combines elements of CBT and psychodynamics. Gestalt also works with early experience, but through live contact in the present.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - teaches you not to fight unpleasant thoughts and feelings but to accept them and move toward your values. Gestalt is close in spirit, but adds work with the body and relationships.

Questions & answers

Frequently
asked

How long does therapy last?

First shifts are visible after 3-6 sessions, and sustainable changes form over 3-6 months. Duration is always discussed based on your goals and your own pace.

How is gestalt different from CBT?

In gestalt we work not only with thoughts but also with the body, feelings and relational context. CBT focuses more on changing thought patterns, while gestalt helps you rely on lived "here-and-now" experience and integrate change at a deeper level.

How do I prepare for the first session?

It's enough to notice what is troubling you right now, and take care of practical things: find a quiet space, have some water and headphones ready. We'll figure everything else out together in the session.

How is confidentiality ensured?

Sessions are conducted in accordance with the NAGTU ethical code: no recordings are made, personal data and session content are not shared with third parties. Online sessions use secure platforms, and personal data is processed in compliance with GDPR.
