Why a group

Other people -
your mirror

Many of our difficulties arise in relationships - and the group is precisely where they can be explored safely. The group becomes a model of the world: the same patterns that show up in life appear here too.

In sessions we learn to notice experiences in the "here-and-now", speak about what matters in plain language, and try new ways of being in contact. The group is a safe place to test ideas, receive feedback and feel supported.

The group also reduces the sense of isolation: you see that others share your struggles, and that in itself is healing.

How it works

Group
format

01

Introduction

A short call helps clarify your needs and whether the format suits you. Once confirmed, we reserve your place in the group.

02

Shared frame

At the first session we agree on rules, safety and expectations so everyone has a clear foundation.

03

Regular sessions

We meet every two weeks for 3 hours. Each participant can bring their own topic or simply be present in contact.

04

Ongoing support

At the final session we reflect on insights and, if desired, discuss continuing in the group or moving to individual work.

Questions and answers

Frequently
asked

Do I have to share personal things?

You choose the depth yourself. The facilitator looks after safety and the group's agreements help maintain a gentle tone.

Do I need prior therapy experience?

No, experience is not required. A willingness to be in the process is enough. We hold an intro meeting to make sure the format suits you.

How do I join and find the right level?

Before the start we hold a short call - we get acquainted, discuss your needs and see whether the current group is a good fit or whether to wait for the next intake.

How confidential is it?

All participants agree to the group's rules, one of which is strict confidentiality. What happens in the group stays in the group. This is a non-negotiable condition of participation.

What if I miss a session?

Just let me know in advance. We will share the key observations and agree on how you can re-engage with the process without stress.

Can I combine this with individual therapy?

Yes, and it is often very effective. Individual work provides depth, group work provides practice of live contact. If you are already working with another therapist, that is not an obstacle.
