What is
gestalt coaching

Gestalt coaching is structured work grounded in gestalt principles: here-and-now awareness, contact with self and environment, and clarifying needs. We don't "fix" the person - we help restore grounding, contact with reality and the capacity to act.

  • Awareness and here-and-now contact - noticing what is happening right now: in the body, emotions and thoughts
  • Responsibility and choice - drawing on your values and making conscious decisions
  • Experiment and feedback - trying something new right in the session, without risk
  • Clarifying goals and gathering energy - moving from scattered focus and procrastination to steps and results
  • Completing the unfinished - reducing energy leaks and anxiety, freeing up resources for forward movement

How gestalt coaching differs from classic coaching: less directiveness and universal prescriptions, more attention to your experience, bodily and emotional signals, and how your goal fits with your values and resources. This makes change sustainable.

What this work is about

What happens
in a session

Each session starts with your current request. I ask questions that help you see the situation from a different angle, find what is getting in the way and feel out the next step.

Gestalt coaching is not just conversation. Sometimes we notice how the body responds to a topic, how your energy shifts when you talk about different options. This gives information that logic does not always see.

It can feel uncomfortable - when you come face to face with something you have been avoiding. That is normal and part of the process. You set the pace.

At the end of each session you leave with a concrete step - small, realistic and yours.

Topics
for coaching

Career goals and leadership development

Changing roles, getting a promotion, moving into a new field - when you need clarity and confidence about the next step.

Personal growth, confidence, self-presentation

You have an idea but find it hard to start. I help you build structure, set priorities and take the first steps.

Clarifying meaning, values and priorities

It is not clear which direction to go. I help you find your bearings and put into words what you actually want.

Building a team, delegation, feedback

Becoming a more confident leader, improving communication within the team, finding your own management style.

Balance and energy - recovering from burnout

When work fills every space and personal life keeps getting postponed. I help you find a sustainable rhythm.

Relocation, adaptation and finding a new role

Moving, changing context, finding yourself in a new environment - I help you find grounding and direction.

Coaching offers a space where you can voice doubts, test ideas and rely on yourself - without pressure or judgment. We focus on actions that produce results and support your resilience.

How the work is structured

The process
step by step

01

Contract

We define the request and desired outcome, agree on the framework, success criteria and communication format.

02

Exploration

We examine the context: roles, expectations, supports and constraints. What helps and what gets in the way.

03

Experiment

We test new behavioural strategies right in the session to find workable solutions without risk.

04

Integration

We capture insights, translate them into habits and concrete steps. We track progress and adjust the plan.

Questions and answers

Frequently
asked

How long does coaching last?

The first noticeable changes usually come within 2-3 sessions. A standard cycle for a specific goal takes 10-12 sessions, but we always decide on the length together based on the goal and pace.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses on achieving specific goals and developing skills for the future. Therapy explores emotional roots more deeply. In coaching we keep the focus on action.

Is homework required?

Small experiments or observations between sessions help consolidate results. We choose a format that is realistic for your schedule.

How is confidentiality ensured?

Work is conducted in accordance with the GCI ethical code: no recordings are made and data is not shared with third parties. Online sessions take place on secure platforms and personal data is processed in line with GDPR requirements.
